COURSE OBJECTIVES

This workshop will cover fundamental theories in designing mobiles and provide lots of hands-on experience. It will equip you with skills in constructing hanging mobiles in various sizes and shapes. It will also enable you to learn how to turn decorative mobiles into educational tools and informative signposts. At the end of the workshop, you will be able to design attractive hanging mobiles for home, schools or libraries.

• Introduction  
• Materials and tools for making hanging mobiles 
• How to find mobile ideas from various sources  
• Designing single and double layer mobiles  
• How to create balance with symmetrical and asymmetrical designs  
• Using mobiles as educational tools in the class room  
• Using mobiles as informative signpost or information dissemination tool in the library  
• Some tips on creative hanging mobiles for schools, libraries and home use  
• Theory into practice: hands-on workshop and project work  

Course fee: $90 per participant (Student's group)
Duration: 6 Hours (One full day or two half days)
