COURSE OBJECTIVES

This workshop will equip you with basic skills and creative techniques in designing bulletin boards and displays. It will cover fundamental theories and provide lots of hands-on opportunities.
 
COURSE OUTLINE

• Basic tools and materials for display work  
• How to get materials within your budget  
• Using 2D bulletin boards to display 3D objects, posters, cards etc... 
• Choosing themes: Seasonal or subject related themes  
• How to project seasonal displays  
• How to highlight subject related themes  
• How to create display objects yourselves:  
• The Origami way...  
• Recycling CD-ROMs...  
• Turning microfiches into useful art materials etc…  
• Making your own signal...  
• Making or modifying your own photo frames...  
• Creative use of used calendars...  
• Theory into practice: the final project that showcases your creative tale

Course fee: $90 per participant (Student's group)
Duration: 6 Hours (One full day or two half days)
Minimum: 25 participants
