This workshop aims to help you to:
- understand the concept of Electronic Information Literacy
- familiarize with Boolean operators used by search engines
- apply Boolean logic, set theory in searching
- use proximity operators and field codes in search directories and search engines
- understand various ways to increase recall and precision, yet cut down noise in your search results
- conduct various searches and select appropriate search tools for your search
- learn various search tips and effective techniques in making your search more fruitful.

PREREQUISITES
Those who have used search engines/search guides to conduct searches at work or at home and would like to master more advanced tools & techniques
